Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Bertie Tupper, founder of TUPPCO. I’m a hardworking, independent, honest individual who thrives on success in a wide range of working environments. Working with others, leading a team or instructing, I have always achieved high results and have rarely missed a deadline.
I am extremely customer focused with an eye for detail and professional attitude. I am always keen to learn new skills, techniques and have always excelled under pressure.
I’m a 3rd generation farmer who diversified by following on in my father’s footsteps; I am a LANTRA & NPORS instructor and NVQ assessor in over 20 categories. I am a confident and proficient instructor/assessor due to my time working in agriculture, landscaping, fencing and construction throughout the U.K, New Zealand and Australia, over the past 15 years. I am also a thorough test examiner.
I have completed many landscaping and fencing contracts across the Cotswolds and my reputation for high quality work is widely known and have worked (and still do!) for a range of clients, including high profile and high-net-worth individuals.
I still enjoy being on the ground, operating machinery or helping to project manage rural work.

PROJECT MANAGER
Over the years, I have taken the lead in a range of rural projects across the Cotswolds. My extensive knowledge of equipment, countryside and health and safety give me the confidence to lead and manage a team. I have successfully managed a range of works including landscaping, fencing, tree planting and groundworks. My knowledge of local, trustworthy companies and contractors assist me when project managing.
MACHINERY OPERATOR
I am a qualified and confident machinery and equipment operator in land-based, landscaping and construction industries. I have built up a wealth of knowledge of a different machine makes and models, through my time as an operator. I am available for short term contracts and sometimes at short notice around the Cotswold counties. I keep my skills current through approved awarding bodies NPORS and LANTRA.
Through Test Examiner
Through Tuppco, I am a registered and certified thorough test examination centre through BAGMA & CFTS. I can deliver on-site thorough test examinations to meet LOLER & PUWER regulations. I am able to test a range of lifting equipment including telehandler, tractors, MEWPs, forklifts, ATVs, loading shovels etc.

Bertie supported us on a very difficult project which needed a skilled excavator operator to work in horrendous conditions whilst avoiding great crested newts. He delivered the job on time, if not a little ahead of schedule, which was impressive taking into account the clay terrain and poor weather conditions. Very professional and we will see more of him I am sure.
In the field of Estate Management Services there is no one more heroic than Bertie Tupper when he erected a field gate in close proximity to my bee hives while the bees went about their business unconcerned!
I have used Bertie on a number of occasions to operate plant for WJW Engineering, he has completed work in quarries, large country estates and farms. From all of my clients I have had very good feedback not only on his operational skills but his manor with other members of staff and his knowledge of health and safety!
